Molecular Imaging and Contrast Agent Database more >>

The Molecular Imaging and Contrast Agent Database (MICAD) is an online source of information on in vivo molecular imaging agents based on recommendations from the extramural community.

Letter From The President – May 2010

One of the ways in which the President of the SRS communicates with the membership is through a through a series of letters published in the society's journal, Nuclear Medicine and Biology, published eight times per year. These messages are made available online as each issue is published and are archived here for future reference.

International Symposium of Technetium and other Radiometals in Chemistry and Medicine (Terachem-2010) more >>

September 8-11, 2010
Bressanone, Italy

The Eighth Terachem-2010 Symposium is co-sponsored by the Society of Radiopharmaceutical Sciences (SRS) and the University of Padova, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and held under the auspice of the Pharmacy Faculty of the University of Padova, SCI, AIMN, GICR, SIFO, and in collaboration with IAFA. The Terachem-2010 Symposium is an outstanding and unique international Symposium that is entirely devoted to radioactive metal chemistry and their use in developing radiotracers for biological and medical studies. The Symposium approaches the multidisciplinary issues related to the development and production of new radiometal-labeled compounds, the synthesis of high specific activity radiotracers, the determination of their structures, and in vitro and in vivo applications in biological and medical systems. The Scientific Program will include both invited presentations and submitted oral and poster sessions focused on the chemistry of technetium and other metals, the Tc-99m tricarbonyl approach, stability or radiometal-labeled probes, validation of imaging/therapy pairs, quality control of the new radiolabeled drugs, alternatives for Mo-99 production, and imaging and clinical applications. For more information, see Symposium Announcement. The Symposium will encourage participation and interaction among student, post-doctoral fellows and senior scientist through its programming and social functions. SRS sponsored bursaries to support travel of participating students and trainees in the Symposium are available.

Abstract Deadline: April 7, 2010

Abstracts will be submitted to Nuclear Medicine and Biology. Visit the Symposium Website www.terachem2010.com for details.
