Home - Letter from Srs President

On behalf of the Society of Radiopharmaceutical Sciences, I would like to thank everyone who attended eSRS 2021. In response to the uncertainty regarding the impact of COVID-19 on international travel, the iSRS program committee, and SRS leaders decided to postpone our Nantes iSRS 2021 in-person meeting and —instead—hold a virtual SRS meeting (eSRS) that particularly catered to the needs of early career researchers and emerging talent in the field.

Over 500 delegates registered for this exciting program that showcased the very best in the field from around the globe. Each day started with a keynote talk followed by scientific abstract presentations. Among the innovations in the 2021 program were the ‘debate’ sessions around controversial topics– they were one of the interactive highlights of the program. Additionally, networking opportunities, at the start and end of each daily session, provided a chance to talk to and discuss directly with the authors of the abstracts and to visit with colleagues. Presentations are available for post-meeting access and accepted abstracts are published.
