About Bressanone

Bressanone (known as "Brixen" in German) is a beautiful location for this unique meeting. Located in the heart of South Tyrol in northern Italy, Bressanone is situated in a wide valley basin where the Eisack and Reinz rivers meet. It is the third largest city and the oldest town in the province, which served as a relaxing stopover for emperors on their travels.

The city center offers a compelling mix of joie-de-vivre and cultural attractions. Thanks to the mild climate of the Isarco Valley, vineyards and fruit orchards thrive here. Just beyond the city limits, you'll find gorgeous vistas and refreshing experiences in the world of nature.

Climate

In September, Bressanone typically enjoys mild, sunny weather, with daytime temperatures ranging from 18°C (65°F) to 25°C (77°F). Visitors will be most comfortable with a light jacket or coat. An all-weather layer is useful for cooler evenings and the occasional rainy day.

Keep in mind that Bressanone sits at approximately 560 meters (1,837 feet) above sea level in the Dolomite mountains. Comfortable walking shoes, warm sweaters, and a waterproof jacket are recommended to ensure you're prepared for changing conditions and outdoor activities.
