Poster Presenter Guidance

  1. Posters should be formatted 84 cm width x 118 cm height max in portrait orientation.

  2. Posters must be displayed in the poster hall during the entire Symposium.

  3. Posters must be affixed on Sept. 26 from 15.00 to 18.00.

  4. Posters have to be removed on Sept. 29 from 12.45 to 13.30. The Organizing Secretariat will not be responsible for posters not removed on time.

  5. Material to affix your poster (scotch tape/thumbtacks) will be available on site.

Poster Communication Session Guidance

  1. Posters selected for Poster Communication (rapid oral presentation) will be presented by the author with a time-limit of 2 minutes.

  2. The authors of the selected posters are kindly requested to prepare two slides including: Title, Authors and Affiliation and the Background, Results and Conclusions of the study as attractively as possible in order to stimulate a later discussion with the audience at the regular poster session.

  3. There are no templates for the slides. They may be presented in 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio. All slides have to be uploaded 24 hours before the presentation via: TERACHEM_2018(at)

  5. All those selected for a Poster Communication presentation should also design a poster according to the instructions under the “Poster Presenter Guidance” sub-title above.

Oral Presenter Guidance

  1. Authors are asked to prepare a 12-min speech followed by 3 min Q&A.

  2. Since the program of TERACHEM 2018 is very tight, all speakers are asked to strictly stay in time.

  3. As a rule-of-thumb approx.. 1 min/slide is suitable.

  4. The Slide Center is located in the congress hall. PowerPoint or Adobe applications are available.

  5. Slides may be presented in 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio.

  6. Speakers are kindly requested to bring their presentation on USB stick/drive to the Slide Center, at least 30 minutes before the beginning of the session or the day before for the first morning session.
