CAFACHEM 2026

Join Us!

The SRS Think Tank (SRS-TT), in collaboration with SRS leaders, is organizing the third edition of our Summer School on Organic and Halogen Radiochemistry (CAFACHEM 2026). This program will continue the tradition of focusing on State-of- Art Organic/Halogen Radiochemistry and its application in PET tracer development. CAFACHEM stands for CArbon, Fluorine and organohalogen rAdioCHEMistry. CAFACHEM 2026 will be held July 15-18, 2026 on the University of Michigan Campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA).

CAFACHEM 2026 Summer School is organized for early career staff scientists, technicians, undergraduate and graduate (MS and PhD) students and postdocs who wanted to learn about the latest radiochemistry with organic and halogen radionuclides, e.g. 211At, 76/77Br, 11C, 18F, 123/124/131I, 13N, and others. The program will cover the application of radiotracers in preclinical and clinical imaging for neurological and oncological disease as well as drug discovery. In addition to lectures from senior experts, attendees will have the opportunity to present their own research through oral and poster sessions.
