Pre-Symposium Workshops

Start iSRS 2027 a day early. The pre-symposium workshops run on the afternoon of May 17, before the symposium opens. They’re small, hands-on sessions where you can build skills, meet colleagues and talk with leaders in radiopharmaceutical sciences. Workshop spaces are limited, so add your workshop when you register.
From Target to Patient: Meet the Experts
Organized by the SRS Industrial Engagement Board (IEB)

Meet experts from the radiopharmaceutical industry and hear how industry approaches R&D and clinical translation. The session covers training opportunities, research environments and career pathways. It’s especially useful for students and early-career researchers who are thinking about where their science could take them.
What to expect
Introductions (20 min). Each IEB member briefly describes their background, expertise and the topics they’re happy to discuss. A QR code lets you send in questions throughout the session.
Meet the Experts networking (70 min). This part has two rounds:
First, join a group by country or region to talk about local training, research environments and career paths.
Then rotate among the experts by area of expertise, from target discovery to the clinic. A guide in the room shows each expert’s specialty so you can find the right person for your questions.
Round table (30 min). A moderated discussion of the questions sent in by QR code and the main themes from the networking session.
