Travel Advice from the Organizing Secretariat
Entry to Italy
Entry requirements vary depending on your country of citizenship. EU and Schengen-area travelers can enter with a valid ID card or passport for stays up to 90 days. Non-EU travelers may require a visa and will soon be subject to new procedures, including biometric screening (EES starting late 2025) and ETIAS travel authorization (expected in 2026). For the latest details, please consult the official Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
